Monitor-only — you execute every trade
By design, the system has no order-execution capability. There is no place-, modify-, or cancel-order code path anywhere in it. Broker connections are read-only. Alpha Baker surfaces analysis; you are the final risk manager and the only party who ever places a trade. Any action you take is your own decision and your own responsibility.
Markets carry risk
Trading equities and options involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. Options can lose their entire value quickly. Past performance does not predict future results. Every statistical edge decays and has regimes in which it fails; a signal that worked historically can stop working without notice.
Backtests are hypothetical
Backtested and simulated results are hypothetical, computed with the benefit of hindsight, and do not represent actual trading. They cannot fully account for survivorship, liquidity, slippage, assignment, or the emotional reality of trading. Where absolute figures may be inflated by such effects, we say so — but no model removes the gap between a simulation and a live account.
Data may be delayed or wrong
Market data comes from third-party feeds and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Figures are provided on an as-is basis with no warranty of accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Verify anything material against your broker before acting.
Access & availability
Alpha Baker is offered by invitation only during v1, free of charge, with no service-level guarantee. Access may be changed, suspended, or withdrawn at any time. The software is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, and to the fullest extent permitted by law the operator is not liable for any loss arising from its use.
